The Nicholson Foundation is soliciting Expressions of Interest from Community Health Coalitions to participate in a new initiative to improve health outcomes for Medicaid recipients. Based on the applications received, the Foundation will invite up to three Coalitions to submit detailed proposals for grant funding of up to $600,000 over 18 months.

A new Robert Wood Johnson-funded poll, the New Jersey Health and Well-Being Poll, shows vulnerable populations give their neighborhoods much lower ratings on key health dimensions--good place to live, buy healthy food, walk or exercise--than more advantaged respondents. The Nicholson Foundation and other philanthropies advised on this project.
