Project Goal: To expand high-quality early care and education in Paterson by increasing the availability of Early Head Start classrooms.
Project Description: This project supports the conversion of space to create eight new Early Head Start (EHS) classrooms in Paterson. The grant provides infant and toddler equipment and materials for the new classrooms, enabling service for an additional 64 EHS infants and toddlers ages 0-3. In addition, the Henry and Marilyn Taub Foundation, a partner for the project, is funding infant and toddler teacher training and coaching for Early Head Start teaching staff.
