The Nicholson Foundation and New Jersey Health Foundation — Innovation Grants Program

The New Jersey Health Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports biomedical research, education, and health and human services programs in New Jersey through innovation grants, research grants, and venture capital investments.

In this project, The Nicholson Foundation and the New Jersey Health Foundation are partnering to support the development and implementation of an Innovation Grants Program. The Program provides financial and strategic assistance to support the incubation of market-based solutions that can improve healthcare for vulnerable populations. Each partner is contributing $250,000 to the Program, which will fund winning innovators from the Kessler Foundation, Princeton University, Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine, Rutgers University, and Stevens Institute of Technology. These innovators will receive up to $50,000 each and will be given a year to hone their ideas and implement their projects. Projects with the most potential for commercial growth will be eligible for additional funding.
