Our Goal: To support the launch of HealthySteps in New Jersey and lay the foundation for its statewide scaling and financial sustainability

Project Description: This project is a collaboration with The Burke Foundation and the Turrell Fund. HealthySteps, a program of ZERO TO THREE, is an innovative evidence-based pediatric primary care program committed to healthy early childhood development and effective parenting so that all children are ready for kindergarten and success in life. This project supports ZERO TO THREE in helping establish three sites within Hackensack Meridian Health by providing staff with clinical training and technical assistance of their integrated model. In addition, ZERO TO THREE will help establish a strategy to address long-term financial sustainability for HealthySteps in NJ by identifying payment options for services delivered in pediatric and family practice settings and developing a business case for the spread of the model throughout the state.

About the Grantee: ZERO TO THREE is a national nonprofit organization that provides parents, professionals and policymakers the knowledge and the know-how to nurture early development.
