Health 2.0 promotes, showcases, and catalyzes new technologies in healthcare through a worldwide series of conferences, code-a-thons, prize challenges, and other events.

This project supports the implementation of a three-part healthcare innovations competition for students and faculty at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. The competition includes an Idea-thon and Challenge, which encourage inter-professional teams to come together to discuss and develop ideas for improving, and reducing the cost of, healthcare for vulnerable populations in New Jersey. Three winning teams from the Idea-thon receive $5,000 and one winning team from the Challenge receives $50,000 to pilot their proposed intervention in a Rutgers-affiliated healthcare clinic.
