Great Falls Promise Neighborhood: Year 1

The New Jersey Community Development Corporation is a comprehensive community development and social service organization located in Paterson, New Jersey.

This project supports the development of early childhood programs within the Great Falls Promise Neighborhood, a community development initiative in Paterson modeled on the Harlem Children’s Zone approach. In this approach, children and families in a specific geographic region receive a variety of social services along with improved education. In Paterson, the early childhood programs, in conjunction with the other programs and services for children and families, are designed to ensure that all Promise Neighborhood children are eventually ready for college and/or a career.
