St. Joseph's Health is a healthcare system that encompasses St. Joseph's University Medical Center, St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, St. Joseph's Wayne Medical Center, St. Joseph's Healthcare and Rehab Center, and Visiting Health Services of New Jersey. St. Joseph's Health is sponsored by the Catholic Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth and is committed to providing high-quality care, with a special concern for those who are poor, vulnerable, and underserved.

This project builds on an earlier planning grant to support the development of an Innovation Center, which aims to create and implement innovative approaches for transforming care provided to vulnerable individuals and families. St. Joseph’s is establishing the Innovation Center infrastructure, hiring new staff, engaging specialized innovation consultants to conduct human-centered design training and coaching, and implementing a series of projects designed to provide learning opportunities.
