Passaic Leaders Announce Launch of New County Health Coalition

On December 19th, several healthcare and community leaders gathered in Paterson, NJ to announce the launch of the Passaic County Health Coalition. Funded by a grant from The Nicholson Foundation, the Coalition focuses on improving the health of the underserved in the City of Paterson, particularly those receiving Medicaid.

ONL NJ is the professional organization representing nursing administration and management. On December 2nd, The Nicholson Foundation and Princeton's Center for Health and Wellbeing gathered many of the nation’s leading experts on pain and addiction for a symposium on “Pain, Pain Management and the Opioid Epidemic.” Attendees at the symposium explored the link between current pain management practices and the opioid epidemic.

New Jersey Project ECHO Academic Medical Center Hub Established

With funding from The Nicholson Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Partners has established a New Jersey Project ECHO ® Academic Medical Center (AMC) hub. The hub will operate a series of clinics focused on specific disease conditions, allowing medical specialists at the AMC to telementor primary care providers in the field – thereby increasing access to much-needed specialty care.
