Advocates for Children of New Jersey (ACNJ) is an education and advocacy organization that educates the public and policymakers and equips caregivers with the information they need to be a child’s strongest ally. It focuses on child welfare and juvenile justice, early learning, healthcare for children, and support for low-income families.

This project continues supports for Right From the Start NJ, a strategic policy and communications campaign to advance child care, especially infant toddler care, as a policy and funding priority in New Jersey. Activities include advocacy training sessions for parents; a series of policy briefs on major infant toddler care issues, including financing and family leave; and leadership of the Right from the Start NJ campaign to educate state leadership and the public on the importance of accessible and quality care for infants and toddlers.
