NJAEYC Public Policy Capacity Development
Our Goal: To sustain the increased capacity of NJAEYC’s leadership, public policy team, and membership to continue their engagement in informing policy in NJ.
Project Description: This project supports NJAEYC’s continuing work and momentum to educate and engage members in early childhood education (ECE) advocacy. These advocates will inform a policy agenda that supports birth through eight initiatives for children, families, and educators.
About the Grantee: The New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children (NJAEYC) is a professional association of more than 2,000 early childhood teachers, center directors, family child care providers, and other early childhood professionals. As the New Jersey affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, NJAEYC coordinates activities and provides communication services among its members and allied professional associations, as well as advocating for legislation pertaining to the welfare of children to ensure excellence in early childhood education.
