The New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children (NJAEYC) is a professional association of more than 2,000 early childhood teachers, center directors, family child care providers, and other early childhood professionals.  As the New Jersey affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, NJAEYC coordinates activities and provides communication services among affiliates of the state and allied professional associations, as well as advocating for legislation pertaining to the welfare of children to ensure excellence in early childhood education.

This project supports the development and expansion of a shared services website, which enables NJAEYC members to improve quality, share learning, and reduce costs by providing pre-negotiated vendor discounts, a variety of easily editable resources to help with program management, and more than 1,200 resources that guide and support practitioners' quality improvement efforts. The project includes a survey of users, consultation with NJAEYC members and other New Jersey stakeholders about use of the website, and efforts to expand use and ensure long-term sustainability.
