The Rutgers Center for State Health Policy (CSHP) conducts policy analysis, research, training, facilitation, and consultation on health policy in New Jersey.

This project supports a required actuarial certification of CSHP’s financial analysis of the projected savings and return on investment that would result from a proposal submitted on behalf of the State of New Jersey. This proposal to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services describes a plan for a State Innovation Model (SIM) design grant. A SIM grant would enable the State to fully develop an implementation strategy aimed at transforming New Jersey’s healthcare delivery system serving the safety net.
